At Sanctuary Fitness we provide an excellent client experience. We possess a deep knowledge of female anatomy, and we insist that our personal trainers have the latest certifications. Our trainers specialise and focus purely in female fitness and wellbeing.

Personal training sessions are a great way to commence and elevate your fitness journey. Individually designed workout routines will benefit your progress considerably. The better technique, combined with the right intensity will accelerate the desired goals.

Meet Maria

Maria has studied BA in Dance Education and Performance at the University of Nicosia, where she graduated with high distinction.

During her studies, she joined Studio One Sports and Fitness School focusing on Pilates technique, a certification accredited by Europe Active EREPS, and EHF.


She continued her knowledge and expanded her skills in New York where she had the opportunity to improve her training even more. Moreover, Maria is a fully qualified Pre and Post Natal Pilates instructor.


Today, she is working as a ballet teacher, Kangoo Jumps and Pilates instructor. She loves pop and jazz music and enjoys long walks near the beach.

Meet Marina

Marina is the CEO and the owner of Sanctuary, Les Mills Advance Trainer and Personal Trainer with a Sports Science degree from the University of Birmingham.


Having sustained a serious sports injury as a former track athlete, Marina became deeply fascinated with therapeutic exercise, functional movement and injury prevention.


Alongside her passion for anatomy and physiology, this experience inspired her to train as an APPI Pilates Instructor.


Marina’s knowledge and skills are reflected in her teaching as she loves to bring a holistic, intuitive and accessible approach to her classes. Whilst she focuses strongly on alignment, precision and correct form, she always encourages clients to have fun and find joy in movement, so they feel more confident and uplifted. Her primary goal is to use exercise to help people feel physically and mentally stronger, so they can thrive in their day to day life.
